Weissenberg rheogoniometer

Weissenberg rheogoniometer: a cone-and-plate rheometer capable of measuring both the viscous and the elastic response of polymer melts. The tangential force caused by resistance to flow when the cone turns with respect to the plate is a measure of the viscous flow. The normal force that is perpendicular to the plane of rotation and tending to separate the cone and plate represents elasticity.
